Welcome Spring!

Sep 14, 2017 | News, Training

It’s the time of the year when trees begin to blossom, even though there might’ve been a bit of confusion with mother nature, who sent us a rather wet and windy welcome to the new season. Along with daylight saving happening on 24th September, and turning the clocks forward giving us more light in the evening.

The Dangerous Goods Management training team have new training rooms set up specifically for the range of courses we have available.  Feedback from participant training evaluations has been positive on the new layout, as well as the encouraging training comments – very precise – user friendly tutorial – easy to follow – great course – simplistic not too long.     Thanks to our loyal customers for your ongoing support.

Check out upcoming course dates by clicking here. We recommend early registration to ensure you are compliant with regulations.  Bookings can be made via the online calendar by going to the event and adding the event to the cart.  If you prefer to talk to our team call us on 0800 256 030.  If you’re not finding the course to suit your needs, or want something a little more tailored, we also provide “On Site”  training if this works for your business and staff, please contact Kimberley Soon: 0800 256 030.

Update MPI – Transitional Facility Operators

All Transitional Facility Operator’s (TFO’s) are advised that MPI has developed an import health standard for Air Containers which comes into force 20th September 2017.  Among the changes is a requirement for air containers to be checked by an Accredited Person (AP) (or other MPI-approved equivalent system).  The current training for AP’s include information on checking air containers and people who are already AP’s are approved to check both air and sea containers.  TFO’s are encouraged to ensure they have sufficient AP’s to meet the new regulations.
