HSWA Workplace Chemical Handling – Comprehensive full day course incorporating Flammable liquids and Gases half day course (until 12.30pm) – Queenstown

Delivered in partnership with Environmental Resources Limited, this course provides training in line with the new Hazardous Substance Regulations.  The previous concept of Approved Handler has been replaced with Regulation 4.5 and from 1st December 2017 any staff who handle, store or use hazardous substances, regardless of the quantities, will now require to be trained under Regulation 4.5.  This course is compliant with the Hazardous Substance Regulations 4.5.

This course is not scheduled at our typical times.  Comprehensive 9.00am – 3.30pm and Flammable Liquids and Gases 9.00am – 12.30pm.

Who should attend:
Flammable Liquids and Flammable Gases, 9.00am – 12.30pm
For sites with only Class 2.1: Flammable Gases and/or Class 3: Flammable Liquids.
Comprehensive, 9.00am – 3.30pm
For sites with multiple classifications excluding 6.1A and 6.1B.
Comprehensive and Certified Handler Certification, 9.00am – 3.30pm
For sites with multiple classifications including 6.1A and 6.1B.  Certified Handler Certification additional price to be confirmed. Please select Comprehensive ticket below and confirm Certified Handler Certification required when prompted.

Documentation required:

[li]Attendees to this course will be required to show a form of photo ID at the course (driver’s licence, passport or 18+ card).[/li]
[li]Attendees to the Comprehensive course who specifically require Certified Handler Certification for Class 6.1A and/or 6.1B will be required to complete additional documentation.  Our training administration team will provide further details after online booking completed.[/li][/list]

Certificate awarded:
On successful completion of this course one certificate will be issued:

1. Certificate of Training – validity of 24 months (2 years).

Course refreshments:
For the 9.00am – 12.30pm session – morning tea & refreshments are provided, and for those attending the 9.00am – 3.30pm session morning tea & lunch are included.

Cancellation/transfer terms:
Should a course transfer be required, this will be provided free of charge for the first transfer only, ensuring advised prior to 7 days before the course.  All subsequent transfers for a course booking will result in a $30+GST administration fee under the same conditions.  Course attendance must be completed within six months of the initial booking.
Cancellations or course transfers made on or after Thursday, 19th September 2019 will be subject to a $100+GST cancellation/transfer fee for the 9.00am – 12.30pm session and for the 9.00am – 3.30pm session a $200 +GST cancellation/transfer fee will be charged.
Cancellations/transfers made within 48 hours of the course date or non-attendance, once registered, will incur full course cost.
DGM endeavour to ensure all courses proceed, however should re-scheduling of a course become necessary, participants will be informed as soon as possible to minimise any inconvenience.
