Delivered in partnership with Environmental Resources Limited, this course provides training in line with the new Hazardous Substance Regulations. The previous concept of Approved Handler has been replaced with Regulation 4.5 and from 1st December 2017 any staff who handle, store or use hazardous substances, regardless of the quantities, will now require to be trained under Regulation 4.5. This course is compliant with the Hazardous Substance Regulations 4.5.

Who should attend:
Flammable Liquids & Flammable Gases – 9.00am – 12.30pm
For sites with only Class 2.1: Flammable Gases and/or Class 2.2: Non-Flammable Gases and/or Class 3: Flammable Liquids
Comprehensive – 9.00am – 3.30pm
For sites with multiple classifications excluding 6.1A and 6.1B

Certificate awarded:
On successful completion of this course one certificate will be issued:
1. Certificate of Training – validity of 24 months (2 years).
Course refreshments:
For the 9.00am – 12.30pm session – morning tea refreshments are provided, and for those who attending 9.00am – 3.30pm session – lunch is also included.
Cancellation/transfer terms:
Should a course transfer be required, this will be provided free of charge for the first transfer only, ensuring advised prior to 7 days before the course. All subsequent transfers for a course booking will result in a $30+GST administration fee under the same conditions. Course attendance must be completed within six months of the initial booking.
Cancellations or course transfers made on or after Thursday, 16th August 2019 will be subject to a $100+GST cancellation/transfer fee for the 9.00am – 12.30pm session and $200 for the 9.00am – 3.30pm session. Cancellations/transfers within 48 hours of the course date or non-attendance, once registered, will incur full course cost.
