Delivered in partnership with Environmental Resources Limited and Dangerous Goods Compliance (DGC), this course provides training in line with the Hazardous Substance Regulations that came into effect on 1st December 2017. Any staff who handle, store or use hazardous substances, regardless of the quantities, will now require to be trained under Regulation 4.5, and this course is for sites with multiple HSNO Classifications.
For sites with Class 6: Toxic Substances (6.1A and 6.1B) HSWA Certified Handler Certification is also required. The Regulations introduced on 1 December 2017 for a Certified Handler, now have additional requirements from 1 May 2019, as outlined in the new Performance Standard issued by Worksafe NZ. This updated performance standard for Certified Handlers now requires information to be collated and verified by the Compliance Certifier before the Class 6.1A or 6.1B Certification can be issued. The requirements are specific and an expansion of the current 4.3 Regulation. The cost for this full assessment including training is $890+GST – please ensure to select the correct event ticket for your certification requirements.
